Our new project is the Styrene Reactor for the TKSC-Dow OL2K Project in Al-Shuiaba, Kuwait. This is the largest vessel to-date measuring 18 ft. in diameter and 96 ft. long with walls 2 inches thick of stainless steel and weighs 320 tons. Fabrication is by Precision Custom Components of York, PA with final assembly at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard with 24/7 inspection coverage of all aspects of welding and NDE. Estimated completion is spring 2008.
Previously completed projects include severe service control valves for Petronas Offshore in Malaysia and AMOCO North Sea platforms. Pump skids for the PEMEX refinery in Madera, Mexico and pipelines for North Slope gathering systems have also been completed. Current projects include inspection of large diameter water distribution pipe fabrication and petrochemical pipeline fabrication for both west coast and gulf coast installations.
